About Matt Martin
When I came home as a disabled Navy Veteran, I saw a need for skilled labor who could make a difference in our community. I founded my company to help Veterans find a way back into society, to use their skills to rebuild their confidence, and to have a second chance. I have struggled with PTSD, but in that journey I have learned how to help others. My business has expanded, helping all who need a second chance to find a new path. I care about helping people find their full potential, and developing their skills and leadership abilities. As a member of the Canandaigua City Council, I take community trust and accountability very seriously. I believe that as we reach out to each other, and have trust, we can help each other become our best selves.
History of Tactical Construction, Inc
Our company started in 2015 when Matt was in commercial cleaning management for large facilities in the New York area. He quickly saw a need for quality subcontracting that was not available at the time. Matt’s vision was to build a team of highly skilled, quality-oriented craftsmen with leadership skills.
Our future vision of
Tactical Construction, Inc.
We specialize in providing highly skilled framing, focused on quality. Our focus is large spaces (30,000 sq. ft. and above) and doing rough-ins and pre-panel work. We work year-round; weather is not our enemy. Our sole focus is to help general contractors complete their projects on time and within budget, with flawless customer service. Moving forward, we want to use our certifications and skilled staff to expand into emergency services for our community.
